Yesterday I declared on Twitter that I was VERY excited because it’s officially Christmas season. I’m already feeling a little left out this year because let’s face it my University is just a little less festive than my old store.
Yesterday it was like Christmas came EARLY! When I got home from my morning class there was a package sitting at my door step. I cut open the packaging to find my gift very well wrapped, so much wrapping.
The gift was from Leah at Why Deprive . Out of the goodness of her heart (or maybe pity, it could have been pity) she decided that since I don’t have any access to a Trader Joe’s that would send me what she deemed as the best spice blend ever. Now I’m not sure if Leah wrapped this package, or if it was her dog Lexie but I do know who the packaging belonged to. I’m really hoping that these bags were not re-used to cushion the trip from the west coast to Toronto.
Poopy or not – the spice blend arrived.
I put it to use straight away by generously sprinkling it on my salad last night.
THANK YOU LEAH!!!
The next gift arrived just before I was leaving for my evening class. It was a huge gift bag FULL of Ozery’s Bakery Pita Break products to celebrate their 15th Anniversary. Pitas and One Buns and Lavash Crackers, ohhhhhhhh! I resisted the urge to dig in to every bag and opened one bag of pitas and one package of Lavash Crackers.
Thank you Pita Break and Pennant Media
If that was the first day of Christmas season then I’m REALLY looking forward to the next 52 days!!!!!
What was the last exciting package or piece of mail that you got?
