Thursday was my birthday, and I was asked on a date by a really nice guy I know. I toiled over what I wanted to wear, and I finally decided on this adorable neutral polka dot dress that I nabbed on one of my favorite shopping sites, Piperlime . My date brought me 2 cupcakes from the always fabulous Magnolia Bakery , and he lit them with candles in Grand Central so that I could have cake and make a wish on my birthday. It was so sweet, and I will always remember that thoughtful surprise.
