My friend had a type of viral meningitis, it was not dangerous, so I went to visit her...and may have picked up the virus. But my family was also visiting from out of town and all of the young kids had strep, so I may have picked that up. When would they be no longer contagious (after how many days)? I have been put on 5 day (take 2 the first day, 1 the other 4 days) antibiotics.
