Lunch is usually hard for me. I really have gotten over sandwiches, can’t really stand them unless there is nothing else to eat. Sometimes I don’t even want to stop and make a lunch so I will just snack until dinner (not the best thing). So today, since my man was home from work, we decided to have TUNA MELTS for lunch.
We used english muffins as the base, topped with tuna and cheddar cheese. We baked them in the oven at 350 degrees until the cheese melted, then broiled them to crisp it up a bit. Mmmm. That was a good lunch, packed with protein so it was nice and satisfying.
According to my calculations (for 1 whole english muffin, 1 can tuna & 1oz cheddar cheese): 340 calories, 11g of fat, 37g of protein
