Bought this at the urging of posts on other tumblrs. Used it and hated it. Didn’t like the smell. I’ve never really liked any dry shampoo and didn’t expect to like this one. They all smell sort of weird and leave a weird-feeling finish on my hair. Went straight to my beauty junk drawer (which is actually filled with products I want to use, but never quite make it into my daily routine).
In any case, I found myself in a pinch. Brett just got his license so dad wants to take us out for lunch. Great—except that I haven’t showered today. No time to shower. Had a great hair day yesterday so it doesn’t look too messed up, but this is a situation where I could really use some dry shampoo.
So I dig this stuff out, and you know what? After some mayor spraying and rubbing, my hair looks pretty fresh. Can’t say I love the smell or feel, but neither is offensive; I probably wouldn’t think my hair felt weird if I didn’t know anything was in it. The scent is sort of citrus-y, which I usually like… maybe some of you will like it.
After my initial impression of this stuff, I probably would have graded it a D-, but on second glance, I’m more inclined to grade it a solid B or B+. Bottom line: If you need a dry shampoo, look no further. This stuff is cheap and it works. Check it out in the store, and if you can stand the scent, pick it up.
