I can't believe you're here already. And that this is the month I'll have my baby. And then next month there's Christmas!
I really like you November. You bring such great things :)
Last month didn't fare too badly at all either. Minus the back pain. And the spending of my life's savings on toilet paper because I urinate so much. And the occasional contraction that isn't exactly pleasant to put it nicely.
So in spite of all the not so fun pregnancy happenings, October did me well. And if you're wondering what went down last month in the Bragg life blog land, here are a few fun things to look back on:
Also, on Monday evening this lovely lady flew her pretty butt all the way from Korea to grace me with her presence.
Yup, that's my mom! I haven't seen her in almost two years and I've missed her so much. And knowing that she's here because my baby is due to arrive soon makes my heart swell.
I'm also diggin' how my fridge has been taken over by Korean food.
But I'm not complaining about the fridge invasion since this is what I had for lunch today. Seaweed, anchovies, spicy marinated sesame leaves, root kimchi, potatoes and five grain rice. Korean food can be so healthy and delicious at the same time. I absolutely love it!
Again, it's definitely been a Korean food frenzy here as my mom also whipped up my favorite spicy Korean crab stew for dinner this evening. I've been craving it throughout this whole pregnancy and couldn't find a single asian restaurant here that served the stew - nor did I have the cajones to ever attempt making it. Needless to say, after nine months my craving has finally subsided.
I'm pretty happy :D
So in the two days she's been here, we've managed to accomplish a lot of cooking, shopping, cleaning, and just plain ol' catching up. We've even squeezed in a run and weight lifting session. I forgot how diesel my mom can be in the gym, I'm seriously impressed!
And if you're wondering about my ultimate freezer meal post that I've been yakking it up about, I'll post about it very soon I promise!
For now, I'm off to spend some much needed and missed time with my baby grandma...
