All last week I was in Wyoming visiting my sister and her family. My brother-in-law’s race ( El Vaquero Loco ) was on Saturday and I helped out again, like I have the past three years. I didn’t do a whole lot, but my duties were at the turn around aid station of the 50K trail race.
Oddly enough I didn’t take many pictures all week. This is the only one I took at the race, little B man chillin’ at the aid station. It was a beautiful morning, perfect for a trail race.
Every year I watch the runners come in and every year I say to myself, “I’m totally doing this next year.” Well, I said it again this year…and we’ll see what happens next year. It just looks like so much fun. A killer race, but fun!
And of course one of the only other pictures I took this weekend was of my boys ready for church! Gotta love the chubby cheeks & double chin smooshing the bow tie.
My brother-in-law also made some pretty amazing pumpkin pancakes. No picture of the deliciousness, but I definitely had them for three meals in a row :) I totally need to make those someday!
Other than that, I had a pretty chill week. Watched a lot of the Olympics, enjoyed having babysitters constantly around, but coming home was just what we needed after a week.
