NYC Half Marathon Training: Week 5

Another week of half marathon training has come and gone, and let me tell you…I am loving having a race as motivation! You know the drill for these recaps by now…

The week was supposed to look like this:

Sleep, socialization, and unexpected things came up…

So the week actually looked like this:

Monday Swim: Easy thirty minutes, nice start to the week.

Tuesday Run: I did this on the treadmill since I had to do an evaluation for my new work’s gym.  This was my first treadmill run in FOREVER, but it wasn’t too bad.

Wednesday Run: Another Treadmill run, who am I?!

Thursday Spin: An hour long spin class, great workout!

Friday: Rest in the morning, light weights after work.

Saturday Run: My 8 mile run! It was hilly (which seems to be the theme in CT) but my pace ended up right where I wanted it.

Sunday: Indoor Tri!

Today I am thankful for Target.  I got some great decorations for my new OFFICE this evening, I can’t wait to put them up!
