Note to self: When traveling across the country, do not pack your camera in the very bottom of your carry-on bag, inside another bag, because when you fly over the majestic snow-tipped Rockies, it will take you forever to navigate past the drink on your tray table, the homework in your lap, and dig into the depths of the bag inside the bag beneath the seat in front of yours without dumping the contents of said bag all over the floor of the plane, because by the time you do, the Rockies will be almost out of sight and you’ll only end up with a picture like this (instead of the much cooler opportunity you missed) and a memory that no one cares about.
[How do you like my ability to compose run-on sentences? It must be the change in altitude...]
But never fear, the Rockies are gigantic, and I managed to snag a picture 10 minutes later when I finally dug my camera out from the depths of oblivion.
But once I landed I was on top of my picture-taking game.
