So, where to begin? I’m Kat and this blog is a first for me. I am determined to live a healthy life and give up on fads, gimmicks and impossible promises. I am experimenting with 365 days of healthy living and hope to really make it a lifestyle and not something I do until I reach a goal.
I am turning over a new green leaf and dedicating my time to creating a life of balance. I am currently a counseling psychology graduate student and have hopes of one day working with young women with eating disorders. I want to be a good example of health and balance for those I work with in the future.
More than anything, I am looking to say goodbye to a life of extremes. I have been thin, I have not been thin. I have been a gym rat, and have had times in my life where I haven’t been in a gym for a year. For me, BALANCE is the word. See you January 1, 2010. This is going to be a challenge, but a challenge I am up for!
