I often go for walks in the park with my dogs. And, lately, I have seen more and more people walking with 2 poles, which I figured were "walking aids". And I thought "Wow, what a great idea to help people walk".
Today I was at the hairdressers (gotta look good for a funeral I am going to) and while waiting, I read an article in a popular magazine called "Nordic Walking".
This article explained the new way of losing calories and getting exercise by Nordic Walking With 2 Poles. I thought that this is just so cool, so here is some more info on it.
The poles apparently sell for anywhere from $10 - $200 /per pole. There is also classes available to teach you to do it properly. You would need just one class.
