No Risk, No Reward

Only four full days left in Chicago!

DSC_0103

Have I mentioned how much I love my new Tumbler ?  I’ve been obsessed with iced chai tea after a tough workout and this thing is living up to expectations!

Anyway, my last day of work is today, and while I can’t say this job was my “dream” job by any means, I HATE goodbyes.  My co-workers gave me a very sweet going away card yesterday and I got all choked up…

To be honest, my anxiety level slowly creeps up when I think about everything we have to get done in the next couple days and the fact that I am moving to a state I have never even been to before!

I moved to Chicago with only visiting twice before though, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to adapt a little more quickly this time around.  Especially with all the gorgeous mountains and crisp air around!

To Do this weekend:

  • Pack suitcases with clothes that we’ll need in the near future
  • Pack the rest of the clothes in wardrobe boxes
  • Finished packing kitchen, entertainment center, bookshelves, etc…
  • Clean, clean, clean
  • Eat everything in fridge/cabinets (we’re very close!)
  • Sell couch (we’re sitting in chairs these days)
  • Book hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska (half-way)
  • Map out route
  • Enjoy our LAST weekend in Chicago!

This weekend will surely fly by with everything we have to do!

Barley’s not so sure about all this either…

Some quotes that have been helping me when I find myself feeling a little overwhelmed:
