Hello friends,
Yay for pizza and chocolate . Glad to see everyone enjoying our pizza from the other day. Loved hearing what people like on their pizza’s as well as what type of crust. Looks like there was some thick crust lovers and thin crust with lots of veggies
It took Michelle and I awhile to get our gluten free vegan and yeast free pizza crust to where we both like it. It has been a huge hit with our clients
For me: I like thick but not too thick crust. I love veggies on my pizza and not too much cheese (never really been a fan of cheese to begin with).
For Michelle: Likes a crust somewhere in the middle (does not like thin nor too thick). Sounds likes me
HAHA
Michelle and I have been in the need for a new yoga mat. And did some research and came across this great brand – Lotus Pad Yoga Mats .
We bought these yoga mats with our own money. We got these mats earlier this week and have been using them everyday. And we love them.
Love how eco-friendly they are. And love the ‘thickness’ of the mat. Great for using on hard wood floors
I am really enjoying these new yoga mats. It makes me get all excited again about doing more yoga and stretching because boy does my body need it
Michelle and I did a similar workout today like the one I mentioned yesterday . After wards the post workout shake was Vega based
Michelle relaxing for a few seconds while sipping on shake before we head into the kitchen all day!
A little bit later she made us both a cherry bomb smoothie (we added in some parsley to ours)
Delicious! It has been a while since we enjoyed one of these. Oh how we missed it
But last night’s dinner was something new, well kinda. We tried a new kind of quinoa.
Black Quinoa.
Heard of it? Tried it before?
I scooped out 1/2 cup of the dry quinoa in the morning and let it soak in water for about 6 hours (maybe 8). Than I rinsed it well and cooked it according to the package.
I added in fresh rosemary, basil, sliced cucumbers, carrots, and garlic.
The black quinoa turned out so pretty!
I finished off the dish with more shredded cucumbers and carrots.
Loved this dinner! Not just because it was gluten free but because it was super easy to make and tasted great! I am not sure if I really noticed any different in taste from black quinoa to regular quinoa you see in the stores. But nevertheless it was amazing.
We will be back later with our recipe Friday.
Till next time,
Lori
