It is really healthy to make goals and find ways to constantly improve ourselves and our lives. While we can make these changes at any time of the year, it is always nice to start off a new year hopeful with a positive fresh outlook.
Of course, the whole process completely grossed me out and turned me off from chicken for probably the rest of my life, but still…at least, I did it!
Here’s a glimpse of just a few of the things that I want to do this year:
Keep fresh flowers in the house.
Organize, organize, organize! (I’ve actually been working on this like a psycho mad-organizing woman for the past few weeks. It has gotten so bad that Michael asked if I plan to stick him and our dog Emma in an organizing bin.)
Take more walks.
Continue to read at least one book per month.
Call my long distance friends at least once a month.
I think that the most important thing with resolutions or goals is to take baby steps and start off small. This is especially true of things like dieting and working out. I always encourage my clients to make little changes that they can easily sustain and eventually build upon.
