New Training & Sore Muscles!

Hey guys! Since the last time I’ve posted, I’ve made a few big changes to my training routine!  I decided I was lacking motivation lately and want someone to motivate me and push me more than I’m used to pushing myself.

It’s true.  I’ve been completely guilty of going to the gym, going through the motions and then calling it a day.  I was contemplating on hiring an actual trainer at my gym to push me, but I decided I wanted to look online for another trainer with some credentials to back them up.

Well..somehow I stumbled across this guy…

Well, I decided to contact him directly and see if he offered online training.  Well..he does!

Everyone meet my new trainer, Brandan Fokken.  He is the owner of Fokken Strong Training .  If I were to tell you I wasn’t a little bit scared about hiring him as my coach…I’d be completely lieing to you.  I was and am still terrified.

Brandan is a sponsored athlete, nationally ranked physique competitor and sponsored by multiple fitness companies!  He knows his S*@%!

I’ve been working with him for almost a week now and all I can say is that these are the hardest workouts I’ve ever done in my life!!! They push me to a whole other level and I can’t believe how sore I am this week.

DOMs (delayed onset muscle soreness)  is in FULL effect right now.

Besides the intense workouts, this is my biggest struggle this week…

It hurts to even sit on the toilet!  Ladies, you know what I’m talking about here! ;)

haha…seriously though!!!

All joking aside, I’m pumped to have the opportunity to train with such a well respected athlete and can’t wait to see some amazing results in my physique!

Now…wish me luck because I’ll need it ;)
