New Toy & I LOVE EBAY

I NEED to have music when I run and workout. It just makes it so enjoyable and makes time pass by quickly. I have always had an ipod nano but it just stopped working at the beginning of the year which was okay because it was at the same time DH and I got our new phones, yup iphones. I love my iphone! But have you tried running with an iphone? AARRRGGHH.....its too big and it skips and also heavy. So I knew I would need to get a new ipod for my running. I still use my iphone at the gym because I just place it on the threadmill but out on the concrete I need a little ipod. So I went to my favourite place, EBAY, I didn't have to drive or wait in lines! I got a great deal on a brand new ipod shuffle 4th generation. I paid about half of what I would have paid for it here at Future Shop or Best Buy. One reason I am not a fan of living in Canada........we pay too much for items.....I would rather buy it in the USA or online. Oh yes there are other reasons I would rather live in the USA, but that is a discussion for another time. Okay back to my new toy.......I LOVE IT! It is sooooo tiny, perfect for my runs! Now I have to spend some time organizing my music to get just the right songs for running.

So I went to the gym today, did a 7K run on the treadmill at a speed of 6.5, it felt great but I was sweating ALOT. The gym was too hot! But I feel great which is key. Tomorrow I will take it easier at the gym, probably some cross training and upper body weights, hoping to get a good run outside on friday!
