No, I didn’t run 27 miles…
But Mosely and I did run 7, which is his new PDR! Yey for Mr. Mo!
Wait where is Mo anyways?
Oh right, it’s puppy coma time.
I didn’t have any intention of running more than 5 or 6 miles but boy did Mr. Mo have energy to burn. In fact, it might be more appropriate to say that Mo ran 8 miles and I ran 6 because he pulled me along for the first 2 before settling into a more mommy-friendly pace.
Lunch!
As it’s near the end of the week, our fridge is getting a little bare. However, we did have some leftover homemade veggieful marinara sauce , a block of cheddar cheese, and some hearty whole wheat bread. That was all I needed to make some deliciously cheesy homemade pizza.
Enjoyed with a couple cans of ice cold bubbly.
Ohhhh yeah…
Many Thanks
I want to thank you for all of your wonderfully supportive comments in response to my first How I Overcame My Eating Disorder post . It means so much to me that you appreciate my story and I do really hope that it is helpful to others who struggle and/or have struggled with similar issues.
I am going to write the 2nd post in the series this afternoon but I thought we could all use a lighter respite in between. (Apparently, to me light = puppy comas and pizza!)

Yesterday, I realized that this weekend will be my last here in Newburyport for a while because I will be heading back to D.C. next Friday for the start of a week long family staycation followed by my buddy Emmy’s fabulous wedding day! After the wedding, I will be back in Newburyport for a few days and will then fly to Philly for the Healthy Living Summit. It’s going to be a bit of a whirlwind!
I will be posting the entire time, however, it would be awesome to share a few fabulous guest posts, particularly during the busy wedding weekend and the days that I am driving to and from D.C.. I am open to any topics that are fitness, health, and food related, including recipes, workouts, health info, and personal health journeys. If you’re interested shoot me an email at fitnesshealthandfood@gmail.com .
I hope you’re all having a wonderful Friday!
