Reading this article recently in the New York Times really makes me want to give a big 'Slow-Clap' for the Dairy Industry. If you aren't familiar with the Slow-Clap it's a loud, slow, mocking clap that shouts "BRA-vO". So there are some new rules coming for Organic Dairy, according to this article. For example, they want the term 'organic' to mean that their cows have to spend a higher amount of time grazing in pastures. But isn't this what cows should be doing ALL of the time? After all, a pasture is where the grass is and organic grass is what cows should be eating.
