On Saturday I tackled something that has been on my to-do list for quite some time…
I rode on the Navy Pier Ferris wheel!
I’m not the biggest fan of heights, so this was a pretty big deal for me.
At first, I wasn’t so sure it was a good idea…
But once we got to the top and started coming back down, I felt great. The views from the top were unbeatable.
It was so much fun and I’m glad I did it! I’ve lived here two years and knew I would regret it if I never rode on the big Ferris wheel before I moved.
Not much left on my Chicago to-do list now!
Weekly Workout Review:
Sunday- Cardio: 30 min. elliptical, 20 min. bike
Monday- Cardio: 45 min. - 3 miles EZ + warm/cool
Wednesday- Cardio/weights: 35 min.- 3 miles EZ, 25 min. all-over weights
Friday- Cardio: 45 min. - 3 miles EZ + warm/cool
Saturday- Cardio: 65 min. - 5 miles LSD + warm/cool
Workout total: 265 minutes (hit my goal of at least 250 minutes/week!)
Week one of half-marathon training= Check!
