Okay, so I created this blog MOSTLY because I see that many women like myself, have a hard time finding the time to get moving and exercise! Well, I figured we can do it TOGETHER?! At one point in my life I was lazy, didn't wanna exercise, didn't eat healthy. I needed change! My grandmother had a lot to do with it, she had congestive heart failure (diagnosed years ago). Because I couldn't help her, I made it a point to do whatever I could to help others understand the importance of taking care of their heart, even worked in cardiac rehab for a little while before I became a P.E. teacher with my degree in health. I wanted to help make a difference to the children and help them develop these healthy habits before it was too late. Yea, who would have thought that lazy girl would have actually LOVED exercise? I KNOW first hand how hard it is to do it each day, I have to wake up each day and tell myself to GET MOVING!
Now that I am a proud wife and mother, what I hear from most women is "How do you find the time?" ANSWER: I have NO idea! It's true, I don't know how I found the time when I was a full-time teacher, mother and wife and I still don't know how I find the time being a full-time mother and wife-minus the teacher! ?? I guess I just make time. Whether it's jogging(I am by no means super-fast!), workout videos(I know not everybody likes them, but for some reason, I do!) or whatever else I am feeling!
WE CAN MOTIVATE EACH OTHER!
