My national running day workout – prepping for summer!

Overall I ran 5.75 miles today. I slept in because my alarm clock (little G man) slept in, so I had to take the boys on a mid-morning run. I ran a 1.5 mile warm up to our land and then did a workout there, which included running intervals & some tire flipping! Then we ran 2 miles home…and had to stop at a park along the way.


Here is my workout: (it’s a summer PREP workout because it’s barely turning summer over here in Montana…we still have time to prep!!)


And a short video to show you how it’s done (at double speed).

I’m not practiced in ‘tire flips’ so I’m sure my form is way off, but I tried to keep my form similar to that used for squats and deadlifts, even though I know they aren’t the same thing.
