I hope everyone is getting back in the groove after the weekend. At least this week will be a short one!
I’ve been wanting to compile all of my favorite personal growth resources on the blog for awhile and I figure now is as good a time as any. The following are resources I draw upon regularly whenever I’m in need of some inspiration, and they’re the same ones I find myself recommending to friends and clients over and over.
Check them out and let me know what you think!
A Course in Miracles <3
Spirit Junkie by Gabrielle Bernstein – An awesome personal account of Gabrielle’s spiritual growth journey from the bottom up. This book is one of my absolute favorites. I’ve read it over and over.
May Cause Miracles by Gabrielle Bernstein – Great for anyone who wants to infuse some spiritual principals into their day but is short on time. I can tell you first-hand that this 42 day guide will bring about miraculous shifts in the way you see the yourself and the world in just 10 minutes per day.
Dying to be Me by Anita Moorjani – A must read for anyone who struggles with self-acceptance. (And let’s face it, who doesn’t?)
The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte – Just take my word for it and read this one, mmkay?
The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks – This is a great one for budding entrepreneurs, or anyone looking for more purpose in life. Hendricks walks you step by step through how to operate from your Zone of Genius and take control of your time.
Money: A Love Story by Kate Northrup – A unique guidebook for creating financial freedom that focuses on the relationship between money and self-value. (Newsflash: there’s a connection).
The Gift of Imperfection by Brene Brown – A great read for anyone who struggles with perfectionism.
A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle – This is another one that will radically shift your perspective on how you view yourself and the world around you. This book will also teach you how to bring more presence and awareness into your everyday life.
Marie Forleo - I love Marie’s practical advice and no-nonsense attitude. She has a knack for explaining things in a super simple way that makes so much sense. (Not to mention her videos are hilarious.) As Marie herself puts it, her site is the place to be to build a business and life you love.
Gabrielle Bernstein – I always look forward to Gabby’s weekly videos for practical spiritual tips. You can search through her site and find a ton of awesome kundalini meditations. My favorite one is here .
Danielle LaPorte - Queen of the Desire Map, Danielle LaPorte always tells it like it is. Whenever I need an eloquently, bluntly stated truthbomb, I head to her site.
Heather Waxman - You can always count on my girl Heather for an open, honest and heartfelt post. Her ‘Spiritual Solutions to Everyday Problems’ series is a personal favorite, and her site showcases some awesome free guided meditations. I would also highly recommend Heather’s individual coaching for anyone looking to take their spiritual practice to the next level.
Your Super Awesome Life with Ashley Wilhite – Need some tips for living your best life while creating your freedom based business? Ashley’s site is the place to be. I’ve been through Ashley’s personal and group coaching programs and I can tell you, she’s one of the best around.
The Lucky Bitch – Denise Duffield-Thomas didn’t get the name ‘the Lucky Bitch’ by accident. The girl’s got manifesting wealth and abundance down to a science. Her tips and tricks for busting your money blocks are awesome. (She has a ton of free resources on her site!) Her Money Bootcamp is currently on my list of courses I’m dying to take.
Gabrielle Bernstein’s Spirit Junkie App - This app is the first thing I wake up to every morning. Gabby’s mantras are amazing and they often carry me through the day.
Notes from The Universe by Mike Dooley – Did you know that you can sign up for free daily emails from The Universe? I love receiving these messages in my inbox every morning. There’s nothing like a note from The Universe to make you feel important.
What are your favorite personal growth resources? I’m always looking for new ones to check out and recommend!
