My Favorite Hanukkah Treat: Macaroons!

Okay fellow sweet tooth-ers. Get ready to experience the most delicious macaroons that have ever touched your lips. My mom has made these incredible macaroons for as long as I can remember and they always signal that the holidays are here. These macaroons are really simple to make and include only four ingredients.


Here's what you'll need14 oz bag (5 1/3 cups) of Bakers Angel Flake Coconut
1 can (14-oz) Borden Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips
(1/4 cup walnuts - optional)


Combine all ingredients, mixing well. Drop from a teaspoon 1 inch apart, on a well-greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove at once from the baking sheets, using a moistened spatula.
Makes about 5 dozen.

Easy, right? I have also found that they taste best when you keep them in the fridge. Hope you enjoy!
