When I was on vacation I kept thinking alot about my fall race schedule. The only race I had registered for was the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon but I knew I wanted to get a few more races in before the year was over and also before the snow hits. So I spend some time online researching which races are available and seem to be well organized. And here is what I came up with, here are my races for the rest of the year The Labour Day Oakville - 10K - September 6, 2010
Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon - Half Marathon - September 26, 2010
Niagara Falls International Marathon - Half Marathon - October 24, 2010
Angus Glen Half Marathon - 10K - November 7, 2010
So that's it, that is the rest of my racing year. Not bad....that will be 9 races; two half marathons, one 10 Miler, five 10Ks, and one 5K. That is pretty good for a 30 something year old that only started running in March 2010. Okay that was enough of a pat on my back for now!
My day was a busy shopping day thanks to back-to-school. I took my daughter to get her school uniform this morning, she has grown alot and none of last years (except the gym shorts) fit her, we also bought her dressy picture day shoes, and a bunch of other fall clothes for those non-uniform days. Believe it or not, that took most of my day. Oh I also bought a new Nike tank top for running.
Unfortunately I did not have time for a run but I did do my weights workout and situps so I did get some me time. It was a great workout, I really have been enjoying my weights workouts at home but I am looking forward to my little person being back in school so I can finally get back to the gym and mix up my workouts a bit.
