First of all, it’s been a looooong time since I last posted, back on Fred Meyer Friday. Summer’s now over though and I’m back from the cabin and home for the fall and winter. Time to get life back in order again – household, family, fitness…
Our new little arrival is a mere 7 weeks away and along with the excitement of his debut, I’m excited about life carrying on afterwards…sans pregnancy. I’m sure it’ll take us awhile to get a new routine going, but at least I know I’m getting closer to getting back in shape again and with that comes a much happier and healthier back and spine. It won’t be long and I’ll be able to get back into more running and hopefully revive this running blog again.
In the meantime, I’ve finally made my magazine debut! A few months ago I was interviewed by Canadian Running Magazine about my journey into running after breaking my back in 2005. They wrote up a cool little profile that appears in their Great Strides section of the September issue.
I finally made it down to the Running Room to grab a copy and thought I’d post the article here as well. (The article runs over two pages, so it’s in two separate scans below. Hopefully it’s actually readable!)
Anyhow, it’s pretty cool to have been interviewed and a neat little keepsake to have.
