Yesterday I wrote about what I should really be doing on my day off which much did not get accomplished. So I laid down for a bit, well that resulted in a 18 hour power nap. I woke up at 10:30 am this morning.

Well, not entirely as I am still tired and fighting a chest cold, however I am awake and finishing the laundry and cleaning then back to bed for more rest as tomorrow starts another week of work and I have to be there so I can earn my pay and pay for my bills. It seriously is an endless cycle day after day, week after week, month after month.
With that being said today is just an update and am amazed at how the body is able to sleep that many hours without waking up. But my theory is this when the body needs rest it will get the rest it needs regardless of you trying to stay awake with caffeine or whatever, your eyes get heavy and before you know it the lights are out!
Since the lights are back on I figure I will finish what I started and take it easy the rest of the day.
So my question to you all, have you ever had a power nap that lasted beyond 1 hour?
