More Survey and Research Findings

Posted Oct 22 2008 9:32pm

The 17th annual HIMSS leadership survey results were recently released and for the first time information on RHIOs was collected.  The key finding was that almost 75% of respondents report no RHIO participation yet (only 14% said their organization is participating in a RHIO).  I'm not surprised by this finding because many of the projects are starting with small groups, and not everyone in larger provider organizations are aware of what in their organization may be doing.
