Complete 4 x 400m repeats with 400m recovery between each...
Hmm, guess we're going a little speedy this week, hey? I generally really don't like speed work of any kind. During each of my clinics it always seems that when we get to speed work time that's when people start getting hurt. I guess I just associate speed work with pushing yourself too hard and that's not actually true. Maybe this week is the week I change that negative association and start to actually like speed work!
This challenge screams track time but I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit that in this week or if I'll just do it on the treadmill. I'd rather be outside but we'll see how the week goes. We have a busy week ahead with house stuff to take care, my husband's birthday is this weekend and it's also a big week at preschool with applesauce-making on Tuesday and party day on Thursday (wish I could go to preschool all applesauce and parties!)
Do you like speed work? Do you do it on a regular basis or only when you're training for something specific?
