A few days ago chemicalfreeskinny posted a great Melonade recipe which inspired my breakfast this morning- and my brother’s afternoon snack yesterday.
I modified their recipe a bit in my own version:
1/4 fresh melon, cubed and frozen
juice of two fresh lemons
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
If I had mint on hand I definitely would have used it. When I initially tried this recipe I found that the ice sort of watered down the flavor, so I solved that by just freezing the melon and using the frozen melon in place of ice.
