Medtronic Defibrillator Recall Rights

Posted Feb 21 2009 10:17pm
I have posted this before and I am posting it again today to let everyone know the consequences that a Medtronic Defibrillator Recall can cause with regards to health. As I have mentioned before, Medtronic Inc. has removed its Sprint Fidelis defibrillation leads from the market when five patient died. Their deaths was linked to these devices.

The Medtronic Defibrillator Recall lead can cause fracture and injuries and may even cause death. Defibrillators are used to regulate a persons heartbeat. The system is implanted near the shoulder and connect the device to the heart. It is suppose to sense if there is an abnormality from the heart rhythm and should deliver an electronic shock to make the heart go to it's normal beat. But it sometimes delivers unnecessary shocks to the heart or it will sometime not operate.

Medtronic is requesting doctors to stop implanting the Medtronic Defibrillator Recall leads and return all unused leads to Medtronic. If you or any of your loved one have a debibrillator implanted that uses a recalled Medtronic Spring Fidelis lead, you may want to learn your valuable rights. You can contact Medtronic Recall Lawyer.
