I know I don’t know many of you lovely readers personally, but maybe you can guess from my pictures and whatever that I’m not a super girly-girl. I’d like to think I have an eye for design and fashion, but 99% of the time I feel like the practical side of me wins out and I end up leaving the house with just some cruelty-free sunscreen , tinted moisturizer , and maybe some lip gloss on my face. My hair routine? Well, I suppose a dab of Booda Butter to calm my crazy mop is about as extensive of a “routine” that I can manage, but it seems to do the trick.
Anywho, despite my limited interest in this sort of stuff, I feel in love recently with a fragrance from a line called Maddie & Sophie that I really wanted to share with you (note: this is NOT a sponsored post. I read about the perfume a few months ago on another blog and my sister was sweet enough to give it to me for my birthday last year):
I’ve been in contact with the president of this small company to make sure that the products are vegan and I am delighted to tell you that they are. Also, many of the ingredients are certified organic (see the product line here ) and all are gluten-free:
I can’t really describe the scent of the Essence perfume except to say that it is delicious. <—-sorry, I am used to describing things by how they taste. It is more of a full-bodied smell than the fruity sprays I’m used to, but this could be because it is a oil-based with a roller-ball applicator. I absolutely adore the scent and I kind of like that it lasts longer than any alcohol-based fragrance I’ve ever tried.
So, just in time for Valentine’s Day, the co-founder of Maddie & Sophie has generously offered to send one lucky reader a full-size version of the Essence perfume which is the one I have. Anyone over the age of 18 is eligible to win, but because of mailing restrictions, the winner must be located in the continental U.S. Please use the Rafflecopter form below to enter. I will pick one winner at random on Friday, February 14th:
