Looking For A Natural Remedy For Yeast Infection

Posted Apr 10 2009 11:16pm

Yeast and fungal infections have been with us ever since the dawn of man. And we’ve been looking for a natural remedy for yeast infection ever since.

Yeasts and fungi are essentially the same thing. Yeasts are simply unicellular fungi as opposed to the multicellular species like mushrooms and toadstools which we know so well. Most fungi are saprophytes, that is, they live off dead organisms. In this way they perform an essential ecological service. They break down dead plants and animals into simple chemicals that can be re-used by all sorts of other plants and animals. Others are parasites, living off live organisms. These are the ones that cause yeast infections in humans and animals.

Many of these yeast cells are extremely resistant to chemical attack and, of course, if a chemical is sufficiently potent to damage the yeast cells that are infecting your body then it will almost certainly be strong enough to damage your own body’s cells too. It follows that chemical attack (I’m talking about the application of a chemical via an orally ingested drug or a cream that you would actually put on the affected area) is unlikely to be successful.

A different approach

A different approach is obviously called for and that’s why so much effort and research funding has been put into formulating a natural remedy for yeast infection.

It has been determined that the most effective natural remedy for yeast infection is one that starves the yeast cells of the resources they need to exist and to reproduce.

But how, exactly do we go about it? Obviously just not eating is no solution; we would probably end up starving ourselves long before the yeast cells are affected.

Fortunately for us, properly constructed systems have been developed that provide a natural remedy for yeast infection in a convenient way that fits in with our modern lifestyle. They operate by identifying the nutrients that provide most benefit to the yeast and cutting them out of the diet until the yeast can no longer survive.

There are other, supplementary techniques as well, but they are subject to copyright so I can’t really discuss them here.

So what’s the timeframe?

If done properly, you can start feeling a difference in a very short time. It may take longer to get rid of the infection altogether, and this time can be very different between individuals.

The best natural cure for yeast infection is the one that you’re most comfortable with but there is one in particular that seems to have been most effective for the most diverse set of symptoms and as a result the one that most people end up purchasing.
