Living New Year's Resolutions

As we approach the beginning of another New Year, you can turn New Year's Resolutions into Successes with a mental fitness procedure. 

Most people fail in keeping their resolutions because of lack of focus, weak commitment and insufficient will power. 

Successfully, reach your New Year's goals by using The Power Choice from the North Star Mental Fitness Program.  You do not need will power to be successful.

From a mental fitness perspective, there are three necessary steps for success.  

These steps are:

  1. Focus
  2. Achieve and
  3. Celebrate!

Did you notice that willpower was not mentioned in that list?  Successful accomplishment of your New Year's Resolutions is not contingent on willpower.  We need to Live within the Moment!

Follow this procedure to successfully actualize your Resolutions.  Resolutions need to be more than a goal to achieve in the future.  Our Resolutions are to be experienced and lived in the present on a daily basis.

At any moment:

1.  Focus consciously and passionately on your Resolution.

2.  Act and achieve your Resolution.

3.  Celebrate and experience your success.  Claim your success.

No matter how big or small your accomplishment is towards reaching your long-range goals, it is important to celebrate your success. 

Celebrating successes helps develop momentum for reaching your goals.  Celebrating successes helps you to have an empowering mindset and confidence regarding yourself

For example, let us assume your New Year's Resolution is to stop smoking.  Frequently during the day, you would:

1.  Focus on deep breathing instead of smoking.

2.  Act by breathing deeply.

3.  Celebrate by claiming your success and focus on the benefits you feel when you breathe deeply.  Think "I am relaxed" and feel your happiness, peace of mind, freedom and control over your life!

This procedure can be followed to turn any New Year's Resolution into Daily Successes.

No matter what your New Year's Resolutions are, you can empower yourself by following the three-step procedure throughout the day. 

New Year's Power is result of focusing, acting and celebrating successes rather than attempting to reach the goal by willpower alone.

Empower yourself to achieve and celebrate your New Year's Resolutions!

Remember, You Live within the Environment Created by Your Choices!
