Life’s Lovely Lemons

Posted Feb 25 2011 10:18am

Yesterday started with gloomy, rainy weather and a semi-torturous training run on the treadmill, but around lunchtime, the sky was blue, the sun was shining bright, the birds were singing, and I received some very exciting news!

An unexpected opportunity presented itself to me a few weeks ago, and has led to a new job.  I am ecstatic to be a part of this company.  Any guesses?  Scroll down…

This is one of my 3 darling nieces, Lyla Louise.  We call her Lulu.

When you go to 2 interviews and meet a group of like-minded people who feel like long lost friends, you know you’ve hit the jackpot.  I can’t begin to list all the reasons I’m thankful and excited for this new opportunity, but my experience with lululemon will no doubt make its way onto Living with Healthy Hunger.

I’m sure many of you know about lululemon athletica, but for those who don’t, please click through to the website to learn more about:

Are you a fan of lululemon?  Is there one in your city ?

We’re on Twitter and Facebook .

Do you know anyone who works for lululemon?

My friend, Heather, from Dietitian on the Run works for the company in Denver, and my childhood friend, Laura, works for the company in southern California.

Part of the lululemon manifesto says, “The conscious brain can only hold one thought at a time. Choose a positive thought.”  What’s your one positive thought right now?

Mine is, “Today is going to be a great day!”

Happy Friday, friends!  Happy Friday, indeed.
