Have you ever tried Naked Juice? I am excited to be participating in a Glam Media Campaign featuring Naked Juice. I actually have never tried Naked Juice before today, and I am happy to say I had a really good experience. Plus who doesn’t love being naked? …I mean drinking Naked Juice!
First, I wanted to share some of my favorite ways to make and/or sneak in my fruits and vegetables throughout the day. While they are one of the easiest things to take along with you, they are not always the “funnest” (for lack of better terms) to eat plain jane!
1. Roasted Veggies with EVOO Sea Salt: I absolutely LOVE roasting my veggies. It absolutely brings out the true flavor of the veggie and makes it more appetizing to eat. Toss your veg in some olive oil and sea salt and you are good to go.
2. Make homemade smoothies and use fresh or frozen fruit: None of this icky sugar loaded, fake smoothie stuff! Making smoothies at home is easy and actually really inexpensive. Here’s one of my favorite recipes lately: Superfood Protein Smoothie
3. Buy in Bulk: The best thing to do is purchase your veggies in bulk. That way, you get the most bang for your buck and you are forced to eat them or else they will go bad Well, not forced, it’s definitely a bigger incentive to eat your veggies than have them go bad
4. Keep your desk stocked: I always keep a bunch of bananas, apples, and oranges at work for easy snacking. It’s convenience and they stay good for a really long time!
Naked Juice is actually a really handy snack to have on hand in order to get your fruits and veggies in for the day. What actually really excited me about this product, was the amount of fruit that was used to make the entire bottle. Like Strawberry Banana for example…22 strawberries and 1.33 bananas!
What I also liked was the short ingredient list. I was literally fruit puree and fruit juice. No sugar, no nothin’. In general, I don’t drink much juice…just because I’d rather eat an entire apple, rather than drinking apple juice. I have however, been really into smoothies lately, which kind of contradicts my whole “I like chewing food better than drinking.”
Naked Juice has a very similar consistency to a smoothie, but it’s a little thinner and not as cold. This time around I sampled the Strawberry Banana and Mighty Mango flavors. I do have to say that I slurped down the Strawberry Nanner in like 2 minutes….oops. The mango was good too..I’m just a really big fan of SB.
