Let's Get Motivated

Don't forget about my very first giveaway! I will be drawing a winner tomorrow night.

I am in for a very long evening. After I finish blogging I'm head over to babysit for a couple hours and then drag myself to the gym. It is one of those days where I am really going to have to push myself to go and workout.

My plans for tonight's workout:
1. 25 minute interval workout I found online (more about that later!)
2. Leg press: 3 sets of 15 at 60 lbs
3. Split squat overhead press (thanks to fitnessista!) 3 sets of 10 reps on each leg
4. Squat machine: 3 sets of 12 at 70 lbs
5. Tricep dips: 3 sets of 20
6. Tricep extentions: 3 sets of 20 with 10 to 20 lb weights

If you can't tell, I am focusing on legs and triceps today.

Breakfast this morning was a Fiber One: Oats and Chocolate Chewy Granola bar.

Work felt endless today. I was swamped with work (darn tax season) and I wasn't able to stop but for 10 minutes for lunch.

I inhaled a turkey, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. We had lunch brought into the office today.

Followed by two pickles! I absolutely love pickles!

Here are some tips I use for staying motivated for your workouts:

-Plan out your workout ahead of time. This helps you have a goal and a plan to stick to.
-Go directly to the gym. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. I am currently wearing my gym clothes under my work clothes so that I don't have any excuse to head back to my apartment before my workout.
-Have an accountability partner. Let someone know your plans so that they can keep you accountable for following through with your workout. I use my blog and my boyfriend as my accountability partners.
-Just do it. Don't make excuses. Go to the gym, do your workout, and go home. It will be over before you know it!
-Stay positive. I'll admit it, this is my worst struggle. Think of all the wonderful things the workout does for you body, and how great you feel once it is complete!
