Leftover Love.

Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey + Chili? A match made in heaven!

Turkey and Bean Chili

1-2 Cups of left over turkey (diced) 1 Can Black Beans 1 Can Garbanzo Beans 1 Can Kidney Beans 1 Can Diced Tomatoes 1 Can Corn Jalapeno Peppers (to taste) Spices: Fresh Parsley, Paprika, Cilantro, Old World, Chili mix

Chili is one of my favorite meals. You literally just slice, dice, and shake. Mix everything in a crock pot including beans, meat of choice, and spices. Walk a way for a few hours. And Vuala. No need to even stir!
Did I mention the cost efficiency of this meal? Canned beans and veggies are extremely cheap. They usually clock in at less than a dollar a piece. I usually wait until they go on sale, and then I stock up to save even more! Chili stays good in the refrigerator for up to a week. I normally make a batch on Sunday and then have lunch covered for the entire week.
Back to Minne tomorrow afternoon. I can't believe how fast this break went by!
Good Night Foodies!
