About a week ago, my stepmother was at a garage sale and saw a decorative sign that read "La Dolce Vita". She thought of us and got it for us as a gift. We haven't had a chance to hang it up yet, so it's been sitting on the chopping block in the kitchen all week. While unloading the groceries this morning, we accidentally created quite a nice setup
Seeing the sign - La Dolce Vita - The Sweet Life - as the backdrop to all of that fresh produce got me to thinking about how incredibly blessed I am. I am blessed to have the ability to teach myself about what foods are good for me. I am blessed to have the time to plan healthy meals every week. I am blessed to have enough income to buy my food fresh and, most of the time, organically grown. I am blessed to have the support of my stepsister , husband, and other friends and family as they help me navigate through this journey.
