We’re keeping it in France this weekend!

Three amazing locations, though:

Provence | The Pursuit of Hippieness

Five years ago, I spent one of the best summers of my life travelling throughout the south of France with a student program.

Provence | The Pursuit of HippienessAs Provence is probably one of the most spectacularly beautiful places I have ever had the pleasure of seeing, you could say that I’m pretty psyched to return. There’s nothing like it. I miss the smell of fresh rosemary and thyme at every turn, winding cobblestone streets, and little tea houses with insane views of the mountains. Time basically stands still here.

If pastoral paradise is your jam, then Provence is for you.

Lavender fields forever... | The Pursuit of Hippieness“Lavender fields forever…”

This will be a study trip sponsored by my university, which is super cool because it was by application and I get to go for free! We’ll be exploring the stomping grounds of Cézanne and Van Gogh. I wish I could devote five weeks to this again, but sadly we have three days. They will be action-packed, for sure.

Our days are pretty much scheduled for us (we actually get our itineraries tomorrow), but I’m hoping there’s a little time here and there to go out and explore the towns a little bit. The markets there are to die for, and I’m running low on lavender from my last trip!

And it’s going to be in the 60s this weekend. Happiness…
