Just Say No – To Flu Vaccines

Posted Jan 27 2009 8:31pm
Let me first state that this is MY Opinion and the opinion of many health professionals. Of course there are sides to every story and this is one side. There have been numerous studies over the last decade that point to the ineffectiveness of Flu Vaccines. And, it is not just the lack of delivering the goods on prevention, it is the advent of “doing more harm than good.” Anyone can get a flu shot at their local pharmacy or the market just down the street; “Drive-by Vaccines” are making their way into daily life and with that comes certain risks.

This year the Lancet published a study that reinforces a previous study by The New England Journal of Medicine that concluded that there was NO decreased risk of pneumonia in the elderly that were administered influenza vaccines. There was also a study in October by the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine found that associated reduction of hospitalization and doctor visits were not decreased for children receiving the vaccine. So, if the vaccine is ineffective, then why would we succumb ourselves to the possible side effects of the vaccines’ toxic ingredients? Along with the highly controversial Mercury contained in the vaccine, there are a number of other toxic ingredients thrown into the mix, like: Formaldehyde, Aluminum, Phenol, and Ethylene glycol (antifreeze)…and these are just a few.

There is a theory first presented by Dr. John Cannell and his colleagues in his 2006 manuscript, Epidemic Influenza and Vitamin D, which raises the question of Vitamin D as a link to increased incidence of influenza. Vitamin D has the ability to fight off bacterial and viral infections and thus raise your immune response. This, of course, is pertinent to his discovery. Yet, it is in the layman’s understanding of this theory that gives it credence to me…and that is to simply look at the raised incidence of the Flu infection during the cold, dark, winter months in comparison to summer. Obviously we are exposed to less sunlight during the winter and therefore our bodies produce less and less Vitamin D. Hmmm. It sort of makes sense, don’t you think? At any rate, whether you accept this theory from Dr. Cannell or not, I still advise against Flu immunizations, if for no other reason than the concluding studies showing its’ ineffectiveness. By shunning the Flu Shot you also will be providing yourself protection from the potential side effects of the toxic ingredients that are part of the “package deal”.

Here is an interesting article by Sheryl Walters, writing for Natural News, Six Good Reasons to Avoid the Flu Shot, published in October. In the article, you will learn of some of the potential side effects.

Six Good Reasons to Avoid the Flu Shot

I suggest doing a little research of your own before making a decision on the influenza vaccine this winter.

Take care, stay warm, eat chicken soup, and get some sunshine...
