Welcome to the last day of January! Where is this year flying to already!? I’m sad that January is over, but the last day of the month means that I get to share the goodies I received from my Foodie Penpal matchup for this month!
For January, I received a box filled with the absolute cutest things from Miranda, who blogs over at Twenty-Something and Broke . Ahhh…I have been there before!!
Anyway. Here is what she sent me.
A jar of peppermint bark. This didn’t last more than a couple of days in my house. Lee found it and that was the end of that.
A heart-shaped pocket pie press. How cute, right!? I can see this definitely being used for Valentine’s Day!
I also received some Prickly Pear Marmalade, since Miranda is from Arizona. I am a huge fan of the Prickly Pear margaritas that I have had in the past, so I had no doubt I would love this. It is SO good!
Finally, Miranda included a box of tea and a tiny teabag holder. I’m pretty sure the holder is the cutest thing I’ve seen in my entire life.
Okay, so there is my loot for the month! I apologize for using the word ‘cute’ a hundred times in this post…I just couldn’t help it. Everything was mini and mini = cute!! Thanks, Miranda!
Foodie Penpals is great because you are chosen to send your box to someone different than who you receive yours from, so you really have the chance to meet a bunch of great new people! I sent a box of stuff to Mackenzie from Wealth is Health . If you’re interested, head over and check out what she got!!
Do you want to get in on the fun for next month? Here are some deets!
This program was started and is run by Lindsay at The Lean Green Bean . If you want to participate, email her by February 4 at firstname.lastname@example.org , as the pairings go out on the 5th! In the email include
~ Your full name
~ Your email address
~ Your blog name and address
~ Your Twitter handle (if you have one)
~ Whether or not you are a US or Canadian resident.
That’s it! We always hope to see some new faces!
Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone! Monday is over and that’s a good thing, right!?
Have you ever made anything special (i.e. heart-shaped pancakes, red devil’s food cookies, etc.) for your significant other on Valentine’s Day?
Do you like marmalade? My dad loves orange marmalade, but I just can’t get into it!
