It’s time for some big goals.

A year and a half ago I finished my second marathon and promptly told my entire family that I would never run another. It had taken me longer than I wanted, I hit a wall, and just didn’t have fun.

Fast forward a year and a half, many races and goals crushed later, a bicoastal move and a run coach certification.

Oh yeah…in case you missed it, I’m now an RRCA certified run coach!

Mentally and physically I’m in a much different place than I was a year and a half ago. I know that my body is capable of more than that marathon. I know that my head is 100% responsible for that race, and I’m ready to be my own first client.

October 13, 2013…I’m coming for you.

You may have heard me talk about a special group I’m honored to be an ambassador for. Through Fitfluential , I’m so excited to be a part of the Under Armour What’s Beautiful Campaign . This campaign is nothing short of amazing – the mission: to redefine the female athlete by encouraging women to set big goals, team up and go after them in a big way.

My goal: to coach myself to a 4:30 marathon. Join my team or another team, set your goal and go after it. Yes there are some amazing prizes involved, but for me inspiration comes from seeing what is possible for so many strong female athletes who are ready to support each other.

Check out this video to learn more about the campaign. Follow the hashtags #whatsbeautiful and #IWILL,  follow my own training and tell me: what’s your number one fitness goal?
