Italian Roasted Chickpeas

If you are looking for a quick and no-hassle snack, then you have come to the right place! Boy do I have an amazing recipe to share with you today! Why haven’t I thought of making these sooner? MMmmMmmm!

Italian Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

2 cups canned chickpeas
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp.  sea salt
2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425F. Spray baking sheet with cooking oil. Place all ingredients into a medium sized bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.  Roast for 45 minutes, flipping once about half way through. Make sure to keep a close eye on them as time is almost up – you don’t want them to burn. Seriously enjoy – this snack is my new best friend.

I couldn’t stop snapping pictures – they are just absolutely picture perfect. They are even delicious on top of a salad – the add a little crunch :)

I hope you all have an amazing weekend! I am hoping that Spring is around the corner – us Michiganders are sick of the cold weather – bring on the heat!
