In regular Morgan news, I went back to school yesterday.  But the stinky thing about this semester – night classes boooooooo.  Yesterday I didn’t have class until 4pm and for some reason that prompted me to think I could get exactly one million tasks done before I left for campus at 3pm.  I didn’t get everything done, but I really had a jam packed day that ran from 7am to 2am.  Because I’m a maniac, here’s everything I did:

  • Wrote my final PIPES recap.
  • Went to the gym and had a totally fabulous workout.  It included pushups, because apparently I’m now addicted to them or something :P
  • Went to VOTE!

  • Went grocery shopping.
  • Packed my dinner to take to school.
  • Made muffins like it was my job!

I had a friend who injured himself last week at work and Brad had texted him to ask what his favourite muffins were.  He replied “fruit explosion.”  I guess he thought Brad was going to stop at Tim Horton’s on the way to his house.  But I was planning on making them.  I thought he’d say chocolate chip or something, but nope – something CRAZY!  I’ve never made fruit explosion muffins before but in my typical fashion, I figured it must be easy enough and made up my own recipe.

I was far too rushed to try them out, I had to run for the subway to get to class.  But Brad reported back that he really liked them, phew!

(PS – the reason I was up until 2am was that I actually stayed up to watch every leader speak after the election.)

What’s the nicest thing you can think of to do for someone that’s sick or injured?
