Last night was date night! My only thought was that I wanted to go out for dinner. We went to the “court house” Terroni’s because we have never been there, but obviously love Terroni’s.
I ordered Rigatoni with mozzarella, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes.
Here’s Brad with his sunglasses on even though it’s overcast. He’s eating his favourite which he orders every time – Garganelli Geppeto (with dandelion)
We were sitting beside another table, clearly on a date, maybe like their first or second date. It was so funny to listen to them. They ordered beer, and then wine, and took forever to order dinner. Obviously they were enjoying their evening, while Brad and I didn’t speak once our meals got to the table. I think we ate them in record time (I was faster) and then used bread to scrape up the remnants of sauces. It was too delicious. Besides Brad and I had no stories to show off about ie “oh that wine’s from Italy, I’VE been to Italy”. Yes that’s what the female part of the date said beside us.
After the very quick dinner we started wandering the streets in search of something else to make the evening more date like. That’s when we ended up here:
Blue Jays vs Red Sox. We didn’t win. They opened the dome up half way through the game, which was awesome until it started raining again.
We ended the night with delicious two for one blizzards at dairy queen. Mine was peanut butter cup.
I should mention – I had a glass of wine at dinner and a beer at the game.
Also for lunch, leftover faux ribs and a Lily inspired corn and avocado salad (she made one for me last Saturday).
