
Take note Flagyl is used to treat bacterial or amoebic infections ofthe vagina, stomach, skin, joints and respiratory tract. Vaginal yeast infection can't be used.
You should take this medicine for the length of time precribed by your doctor. Do not drink alcohol while you're taking this medication and for a least about a week after you stop taking it. Unpleasant side effects such as: fast heartbeats, warmth or redness under your skin, tingly feeling, nausea or vomiting might occur.
Your doctor must examine you thoroughly before prescribing you with Flagyl. If you are nursing a baby with breast-feeding, do not take Flagyl because it can pass into breast milk and can harm your baby.
