Pretty decent first day-- the detox hasn't been bad yet-- I expect that in a couple days. I was over my calorie limit (I was at around 1550 today-- need to keep it under 1400) but not too bad.
Food:
1. tropical fruit smoothie, 1/2 banana, spinach, kale, 1 cup soymilk
2. salad, 3/4 c pinto beans, orange creamsicle dressing, carrots
3. hummus, carrots, peas in pods, cucumber, 1/2 peach, 1/2 banana, 1 date roll (I should probably throw these away), 1/4 oz walnuts
My workout today was shorter than usual, but I didn't burn myself out as bad so I should be able to go again in the morning.
I spent far too much time looking for summer study abroad or other nutrition opportunities for next summer-- it's amazing how much time you can waste on the internet. There is a really cool 3 week program through University of Michigan in Tanzania that I'd love to do-- but I don't know where I'd get the $3000-$4000 it would cost!
One down, as many as it takes to go...
