Inspired

Breakfast


I was so excited to sleep in a little longer than usual this morning. I had the worst sleep last night and I needed the extra time in bed. It felt like everytime I drifted off to sleep last night, my brain would just start buzzing and it would get louder and louder until I couldn't even keep my eyes shut. It was that unbearable! I ended up spending most of the night with my eyes open until I finally fell asleep out of sheer exhaustion.

I knew I needed a breakfast that would get me through the day this morning. I made myself a bowl of apples and cinnamon oatmeal, plus I added in half a scoop of vanilla protein powder. Delicious!



It was pretty cold outside when I headed off to school, so I made sure to bundle up and bring a hot tea with me!


Lunch

Lunch was a little on the snacky side today. I snacked my way through the morning and threw together some snacks for lunch as well. I had an apple, some homemade baked whole wheat tortilla chips and salsa, carrots and dip, and some Greek yogurt.


As soon as I got home from the long day at school, I whipped on my comfies and felt a little festive! I'm so happy to be celebrating the holidays in the near future!!


Dinner

I had a pretty lonely dinner tonight. Casey had a meeting that ran right through dinner, so I made some barbeque ribs in the oven and roasted brussel sprouts for myself. They were delicious, but the company was lacking!



After dinner, I spent the rest of the night catching up on some homework while snuggled all up under a warm blanket and also watching live feed of a horse show from The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. All in all, I had a pretty productive night!


Workout

This is how I felt before doing today's workout...


I wasn't feeling it at all! After eight hours of class, several hours of homework and a severe lack of sleep, I wasn't in the mood for working out at all. I threw on week 2 of Ripped in 30 to give it a go and ended up finishing it with loads of enthusiasm! What can I say, you can never go wrong with pushing yourself to do a workout. You'll never ever regret it!
