What is in attentional blindness? Wikipedia put it this way
" Inattentional blindness, also known as perceptual blindness, is the phenomenon of not being able to see things that are actually there.
This can be a result of having no internal frame of reference to perceive the unseen objects, or it can be the result of the mental focus or attention which cause mental distractions.

All of us have inattentional blindness. That is why I have emphasized the need for mental fitness and focusing on taking care of ourselves. Most people run their lives with intentional blindness when it comes to living healthy lives. We do not focus on taking care of ourselves!
Because we did not focus on taking care of ourselves:
We do see and miss opportunities to take care of ourselves.
We fail to see how self-defeating our behavior and lifestyle are.
We failed to see that there are solutions for our problems.
We fail to see and achieve our goals and dreams.
Taking care of ourselves must not be in our blind spot! Taking care of ourselves needs to be our focus so we become intentionally blind to things that are self-defeating and destructive for us.
We will be able to reach previously unattainable goals by keeping the focus of taking care of ourselves in our vision and focus!
