In a fog

Posted Dec 06 2012 9:50am

Good Morning-

Last night’s WOD was a tough one. Mentally I was not focused but tried to push myself anyway.

Strength

Exercise: Deadlift/125lbs <- I probably should have gone heavier.
Reps: 10-8-6-4-2

Metcon

15 Minute AMRAP

9 – DeadLifts
12 – PushUps
15 – Box Jumps (M24″,W20″)

Result Type: AMRAP
Male Rx: 155 lbs
Female Rx: 100 lbs (I RX’d!!!)
Comment: Note: The pushups must be performed as hand-release pushups and the hips can open in the air on the box jumps.

Completed 9 Round and 2 additional deadlifts.

I need to work on pushups as I am still doing them on my knees. The next couple of weeks I am going to focus on really trying to do real pushups.

As I mentioned before my brain was in a fog last night. I was having trouble pushing myself and I was very distracted the entire workout. When I was on the subway home I was frustrated with myself and I felt like I could have done better. Do you ever feel like that?

After CrossFit I went home made a quick Grilled Chicken and Peas dinner followed by catching up on Gossip Girl and Heart of Dixie.

Does anyone else watch these two shows? I can’t believe there are only two episodes left of Gossip Girl. I have been a big fan of the show since it started in 2007. I am interested to see what happens in the final two episodes; will be finally find out who is Gossip Girl? Will Chuck and Blair end up together? Only time will tell!

Have a nice day!

Sig
